Summer Analysts & Associates
Summer program analysts and associates will have the exciting opportunity to support the seed stage of the Worth Rises. Summer program analysts and associates will conduct research related to the commercial interests embedded in our criminal legal system, engaging with criminal justice stakeholders from corrections administrators to incarcerated people. Interested summer program analysts and associates will also have an opportunity to draft legal writing samples, conduct financial analyses, author blog posts and op-eds, and/or assist with advocacy campaigns.
Familiarity with and interest in criminal justice, including a serious commitment to ending mass incarceration and working with directly-impacted communities
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Summer program analysts must be current undergraduate students
Summer program associates must be current graduate students
Dedicated to developing innovative approaches to dissolving the prison industrial complex, we invite candidates with a wide array of skill sets, including those that may be unique in the legal environment, to apply. Most importantly, candidates must be deeply committed to effecting radical change in the criminal justice arena and energized by a startup atmosphere.
Candidates must be eligible for degree credits, pro bono hours, external funding, or be otherwise supported as this is an unpaid position. Candidates splitting their summer are welcome to apply.
